MIA

It’s been months since I have posted a proper blog. I apologise. Life is so damn busy which is my only excuse. The only reason I have time to write anything now is because I have been in bed for days with the flu and a side order of tonsillitis.

So since my last post I have changed offices yet again and I am now working at our Five Dock club as the Sales Manager there. I’ve been working long hours again which sucks but otherwise I love the club and the people in it. It’s presented it’s own new challenges and rewards.

In February Jason and I had family and friends over at our house to celebrate our engagement. I wore the “killer heels” that were my weight loss reward and my black and green dress. I went shopping for something new but I couldn’t really find anything I loved enough to buy. There were some nice dresses but in the end what I already had was enough.

We had about 80 or more people here and put on a spit and some drinks. I had a slushy / cocktail machine which helped keep the party rolling and we had so many friends who came and helped out with setting up and the food and packing up etc. I am so grateful to all of them. Honestly it is such hard work to put together! And they aren’t wrong when they say time passes so quickly! I can only imagine our wedding day.

Which by the way we have booked! Yay!

5^th of March 2011.

The plans are starting to come together – I tried to create a wedding blog without much luck but IF I get around to trying again I’ll be sure to point you in the right direction. I need to learn more about formatting a blog template.

Jason and I normally do Ea5ternats at Sandown every year . Unfortunately due to some arguments with the Racing Club Ea5ternats was forced to make a move to Calder Park. Unfortunately Bob Jane being Bob Jane the event got cancelled because he wanted to take it over. He’s done this kind of thing before so I was far from surprised but to be honest it’s been a blow.

We were relying on this event and another one we do (which has also got the chop) for money towards our wedding. It is 1/3 to ½ of the wedding budget. Now I am freaking out about paying for what I have booked and committed to. Pulling it all together will be interesting.

Other than this life has been quite boring. Hence no posts. Unless you want o see Jadey woke up, Jadey went to work. Jadey went to sleep. Repeat
