MIA

It’s been months since I have posted a proper blog. I apologise. Life is so damn busy which is my only excuse. The only reason I have time to write anything now is because I have been in bed for days with the flu and a side order of tonsillitis.

So since my last post I have changed offices yet again and I am now working at our Five Dock club as the Sales Manager there. I’ve been working long hours again which sucks but otherwise I love the club and the people in it. It’s presented it’s own new challenges and rewards.

In February Jason and I had family and friends over at our house to celebrate our engagement. I wore the “killer heels” that were my weight loss reward and my black and green dress. I went shopping for something new but I couldn’t really find anything I loved enough to buy. There were some nice dresses but in the end what I already had was enough.

We had about 80 or more people here and put on a spit and some drinks. I had a slushy / cocktail machine which helped keep the party rolling and we had so many friends who came and helped out with setting up and the food and packing up etc. I am so grateful to all of them. Honestly it is such hard work to put together! And they aren’t wrong when they say time passes so quickly! I can only imagine our wedding day.

Which by the way we have booked! Yay!

5th of March 2011.

The plans are starting to come together – I tried to create a wedding blog without much luck but IF I get around to trying again I’ll be sure to point you in the right direction. I need to learn more about formatting a blog template.

Jason and I normally do Ea5ternats at Sandown every year . Unfortunately due to some arguments with the Racing Club Ea5ternats was forced to make a move to Calder Park. Unfortunately Bob Jane being Bob Jane the event got cancelled because he wanted to take it over. He’s done this kind of thing before so I was far from surprised but to be honest it’s been a blow.

We were relying on this event and another one we do (which has also got the chop) for money towards our wedding. It is 1/3 to ½ of the wedding budget. Now I am freaking out about paying for what I have booked and committed to. Pulling it all together will be interesting.

Other than this life has been quite boring. Hence no posts. Unless you want o see Jadey woke up, Jadey went to work. Jadey went to sleep. Repeat

Oh I must thank Tina for making me some badges! I can’t wait to use the 80’s girl badge!

Thanks gorgeous!

Is it the weekend yet?

I hear a Strawberry Daiquiri calling my name. An hour plus drive time to go.

Catch Up!

Good Morning! Good Afternoon! Good Evening and Good Night!

That might actually be as long as it takes you to read this post. It's a long one so grab yourself a cuppa and get ready to catch up.

Ok I have mine are you ready?

Well I've had yet another whirlwind trip to Melbourne this weekend. I get down there about once a month normally to see my surgeon although with Christmas I will be down again in a couple of weeks but driving this time. Then my surgeon is pretty happy with how things are looking so no more visits until February unless I feel I need one.
My pocket is going to be pretty happy about that.
My head however is used to the flights back and forth I actually enjoy them but even more I enjoy the time spent with my family when I am at home. I know to some that's going to sound absolutely crazy but others of you may just understand.
My family, my fiancé and my friends are my everything. This includes my dogs Storm and Knackers and my brothers dog Trigger who would grab hold of the toughest mans heart.
I am so close to my family that despite moving out many, many years ago for me to move home or for them to live with me wouldn't put me out one bit. In fact I would prefer to live that way. My parents are the kindest most giving people I know and I am so close to them. They have a healthy respect for me as an adult and yet the protective guidance and support of a parent that I need. I can't imagine life without them.
Going home and spending time with them is very special and very important to me. Leaving is always hard because I feel so torn. I wish I could be in two places at once, In Sydney with my fiancé and the love of my life Jason and in Melbourne with my family. Though I still prefer Sydney so I pray they move up here very shortly.

Since I was home last the house has finally been out on the market. It's an amazing feat! http://www.domain.com.au/Public/PropertyDetails.aspx?adid=2008130834

My parents have spoken of moving north since I can remember. I certainly remember talking about it and looking at properties in Queensland when I was at Primary School. There was always something getting in the way of our move though.

Then when I moved to Sydney my Mum decided she could not live more than an hour away from me as when my life progressed there would be Grandkids to take care of and let's face it we are so close that being apart makes us both miserable anyway.

However again something has always kept them away. For the last 12 or more months Mum has worked quite diligently to ensure that the house was ready to go on the market. She's done so much and the house looks great. Now we are praying for a quick sale.

They don't actually have a clue where they are going to move. I am still pushing for Sydney. Dad seems to be on that train now while Mum seems to have fallen off it.

It's a long way, VERY expensive and one of Mum's friends has been in her ear about how she won't know anyone here and all that. I think that scares her because for the last 12 months Dad has rarely been home as he made a return to interstate trucking. At the moment he is home but nothing says that won't change.

That coupled with the fact that they were thinking about living on the Central Coast which is about an hour from me has her worried about being alone I think.

Saturday they help 2 open homes so I helped get everything neat and tidy and decided to make myself scarce. I did a bit of window shopping and ran a couple of errands for them. Then that evening was spent at dinner with some of their church friends at an all you can eat place.

When we got home that evening we found that Trigger had a major gash in her side. It was off to the 24 hour vet hospital for that one and the next day up to Lort Smith for antibiotics and further treatment. Poor Trigger has been so out of it with the antibiotics it makes me so sad to see this normally bubbly puppy acting like a zombie creature. It's better for her though as it helps her to heal if she is still. She's under strict surveillance to ensure no further damage is done.

Monday Mum and I ducked down the street for some necessities. And boy oh boy was I pleased. Dimmies have some of my favourite bras on sale! I only wear Intimo (Thanks Jodie) and Berlei bras. And my Berlei bras generally cost me $55, I bought them for $11.99 each. The only trouble was finding the correct sizing but who can argue with the cost?

Then we stumbled into Target and I bought myself 2 maxi dresses. These are the first dresses I have bought in a damn long time. I never wear them as due to my body shape they look horrid on me. They tend to look like large tents as I have a very defined Pear shape.

The two I bought look good on me and as a bonus despite the $65 price tag on one it somehow scanned at $11!!! So I'm wearing it to work today. Bargain! Geez God has blessed me. I need as much money in my pocket as possible but I have to buy some clothes as they are all falling off me at the moment.

Anyone got a whole pile of good Size 16 & 18 clothes they no longer wear they want to pass down?

I'm thinking I might sell my old size 20's and 22's etc on eBay. Well those that are worth selling. Most have worn out or seams have gone etc. But if someone else is in the same predicament as me and is moving into these sizes perhaps I should post them here first. I would prefer to give what I have to a friend than sell to a stranger.

From shopping we went to see my surgeon who is impressed with my progress. I think I'll be in heels soon. Little by little of course. Today I am wearing ballet flat style shoes.

Being out of my Brooks sneakers for the first time in forever is so freeing! But may have reignited my small shoe obsession beyond what I could have thought possible. Some red stunners have been pointed out to "Santa" for Christmas with my size etc documented. I even tried them on and they fit even with my brace. The brace stops my ankle rolling but not the flexing motion required for some stunning heels. I can't post a pic as the store doesn't have a website for me to steal one from.

There's another 2 or 3 pairs of heels I simply MUST have. The one below but in lace and with a small platform type heel is HOT and available at Betts shoe stores and another pair I saw a girl wearing at the Arias the other week which were an amazing glitter! I have seen similar but not close enough to take my breath away like these did. I think Loz knows where to find them. (I hope she does)

Mmmm heels.

My other small obsession lately has been The Twilight saga. I mentioned it briefly in my last post but honestly unless you are as addicted as me (or more so) You are going to think I am nuts. I know this because I thought Twilight addicts were nuts.

Ok so they probably are and I definitely am but I completely get it NOW!

I was never in my wildest dreams interested in Twilight. I'm not a vampire kind of girl. But it's a powerful story. One that draws you right into it's romance. It's the kind of story where you wish you were the character in the story.

There's an awesome love triangle. Forbidden love and plenty of drama and action. The men are ever protective, strong and powerful yet loving and attentive. I have always had a thing for strong men. Strong, protective men. Mmmm. While Edward doesn't have the body I would dream for (Emmett and Jacob are more my style with those arms – oh those arms) The character himself grabs me and fills my dreams. This also may have something to do with the fact that I can't put the damn book down so I'm not sleeping until after 2am but I digress.

Over the weekend I finished Twilight and I enjoyed the book more than I did the movie. There was so much more included. I also finished New Moon over the weekend and I have to say in that one I enjoyed the movie more than the book. Although they still missed chunks of the book in the movie.

I understand why though – if they were to put the whole book in you wouldn't leave the theatre for the day.

I am 9 chapters into Eclipse already (I only started New Moon Friday night. :-s) Time passes so quickly when you are reading a good book. It seemed like my wait to board and my flight were over so fast!

I can't believe I have to wait until June next year for the movie. I can already see myself reading through the series again and watching the movies again. I never read or watch anything twice – It's an illness!

I know there will be no more Twilight books written after Breaking Dawn but has anyone read The Host? It's by the same author and I wonder if it will bring with it the same enchantment that Twilight does. I doubt it could.

The other weird thing is that this is the first fiction I have read since high school. I have been into so much true crime and self improvement that I thought fiction was a horrible waste of time. How wrong can you be?

Non fictions don't give the same thrill.

If you have thought it all silly like me be brave and give it a go. It's actually quite good.

I can't lend you my books though because I'm too busy reading them. LOL

On a final note – There's 17 days to Christmas (21 till my birthday and I'm getting old) What's Santa bringing you this year?

I think I need to dress well this Friday and have my photo taken with Santa at Bondi Junction – they have a gorgeous Santa set down there and it's always a great indicator of my weight loss over the year LOL.

YAY

What an awesome time I am having with things at the moment. It just seems like God is really holding me in his hand and really helping me at the moment which is awesome.

Dad has been in hospital for the past week after going in with chest pains for the billionth time. They found a blockage in his heart and I got notified at 11pm (after the last plane out of Sydney ((oh I sound like jimmy barnes)) I hate that my parents are in Victoria while I am up here. It's too damn far away and they haven't been well. So I had a bit of a teary and a melt down cause I wasn't there and I was worried. And then I started praying.

We got some news later in the week that was awesome! They told us that things were so much better than they were at first and were going looking for some other problems Dad has.
Those problems were finally diagnosed last night as being Gall Stones! And it looks like he'll go see his doctor and be discharged tonight. Geez I hope they fix them and that's the end of all this scary nonsense.

Praise God! From a cardiac issue to Gall Stones. Looks like he'll be improving his diet like it or not.

On Thursday my manager that I worked with before moving to head office finally quit and left the company. You have no idea the kind of exhileration and relief that ran through me when I got the news. She was a burr in my side and a pain in the arse. And we have prayed for her removal from my life for 12 months. I don't have room for poisonous people but sometimes, like at work, We aren't entirely in control of the people we have to have in our lives.

On Friday I checked my post office box to find Faith (See below) Faith is a beautiful Handpainted bear I won from Kathy Joy

Kathy is such a talented artist and beautiful woman. She has been a supportive and encouraging friend and she has a wealth of knowledge on many things including being a qualified nutritionist (Correct me if I got that wrong Kathy) She has been overweight in the past, suffered as a result and turned her life around successfully all while looking after her husband who has a degenrative brain condition which requires her to be his full time carer AND having serious issues herself which mean that even if she wanted to she can't even live in just the one place which means she can be constantly on the move.

She is someone who truly will not let circumstance and excuses get in the way of her accomplishments. And I really appreicate her friendship. Thanks Kathy!

Saturday saw us up the central coast enjoying lunch with Jason's cousins and their children plus Jason's cousins wife's parents (Who are lovely!) Jason is God Father to their oldest son Jaden and we don't get to catch up often at all. I love them to pieces. Honestly Jaden and younger brother Luke are amazingly well behaved kids with great personalities. It's not hard to see they get that from their folks too who are both gorgeous people.

Then back to Sydney to Ribs and Rump at North Ryde for my Besties birthday (Hi Lozza you lurker you). I always love ribs and rump and it's one of my favourite places to go for a meal. Best Ribs and Steak you will ever eat! I swear. We always go to Manly though which is the original Ribs and Rump so this was a bit different.

We enjoyed a great night with our friends and I hope Loz had a good night too. She seemed to be enjoying it all except for the ribs and rump special bloody mary. If you go there don't do it. It's terrible and looks like poo water (seriously)

Sunday morning Jason and I were up early. I hate getting up early on the weekends so there always has to be good reason and this Sunday there was. A friend owns the very popular catamaran Aussie Magic. Well known as it used to be hired to Matilda Cruises and Captiain Cook Cruises for charters. He took it out on the weekend with an invite to his friends and we were lucky enough to get on board.

It was a glorious day - About 25°C and the harbour was the perfect place to be. Both Jason and I LOVE being out on boats and found the whole thing so relaxing and enjoyable.
We are thinking of asking to charter the boat ourselves for our engagement party which should be organised for February sometime. Keep your fingers crossed for us. It's a small upgrade from the backyard bbq we were looking at :p
I hope you all had a fantastic weekend like I did. And that your blessings are many.

I've finally done it

I'm booked in for a small "procedure" to have this nasty little son of a bitch removed from my arm. It's something I have wanted to do for over 12 months and I have wussed out everytime. I am not posting the removal photos here until AFTER I get it out because I already made the mistake of googling that once before and I do not need more to freak me out. I am already crapping my pants enough.
It's come time now that the damn thing has expired. And it's causing havok! I'm not sure if it's responsible for the weight status at the moment but it's sure as hell responsible for the fact that Aunt Flo has come and gone a bagillion times in the last 6 or so weeks.
I'm NOT looking forward to the return of monthly visits. I generally end up sick for days beforehand, & during, vomitting and SEVERE cramps that have put me in hospital before. However I'm not interested in putting contrceptive rubbish in my body anymore either. This may change after my first "real" un implanon supported visit but for now this is my stance.
I started putting weight on when I had the implanon inserted. And it's been a hard slog to get it off. PLUS I'm not going through the removal nastiness and freakouts again.
Let's see if I make it to my appointment on Tuesday night. Are there any bets?

SORRY!!!

I have been a bad blogger. And we all know what that means.....

I haven't been losing weight.

Ack.

Ok so what can I say. I think I know exactly whats going on with the whole weightloss thing but I'm not entirely sure. You see I have the Implanon (contraceptive implant) in my arm and it expires on the 10th of October. In the last few weeks all of a sudden I have had my period a few times. I don't norrmally ever get it so this has been uncomfortable, annoying, nauseating, painful and I think weighty!

I'm not 100% sure that's the reason though. We'll see.

I'm still working in head office but there might be some changes to my role on the way. I'm not 100% sure about it all yet but can let you know more as I do.

Tupperware has been great - ATM I am fundraising for National Breast Cancer Foundation which is keeping me busy and sales have been great. Can I encourage you to hold a party this month (You get the gifts I'll make the donation) or at least put in an order with me for your Tupper needs in October so that we can raise as much money for NBCF as possible.

Jason and I are both doing well. I have a little ticker that tells me we are 1 Year 5 Months and 2 Days away from the wedding. And I am completely unorganised! I have only made decisions on a couple of things. BUT I am narrowing the reception venue. Unfortunately I also haven't saved a cent yet so that means I don't have the deposit. But at least making a decision would be a start.

What I do know so far:~

Ceremony Location
Celebrant
Florist
Bridal Party

I have discovered that wedding planning would be so much more fun IF I was spending someone else's money LOL

Jase and I haven't managed to get out to Avenue Q yet. I think we are booking tickets for later this week but it's all in his very capable hands.

We looked into heading to the movies today for a Gold Class session but there's nothing on we really want to see. (So still haven't used that reward) And at some stage I need to go have my massage too. I am sooo freaking stiff and I've been saying I need a massage for over a year, I have even had a voucher to go and get one since December last year and not used it. It's my own fault. I need to make the time for these things.

I am trying to catch up on blogs etc - It's not the easiest thing to do and I fear I am going to need to cull my subscriptions. I don't know how though. Do I cull to the ones that comment here? What do I do?

I can't believe how busy life is about to become here. It's the long weekend this weekend and we don't have many plans. I barrack for the Storm and the Eels. So whoever wins tomorrow I win. But if Storm wins Jason may be unbearable to live with so I am more going for the Eels.

Next weekend I am heading to Melbourne. Except I screwed up my flights so I'll be there Sunday (was supposed to be friday night) then out monday.

The following weekend I have a wedding to go to and a girlfriend up from Melbourne. The one after that another wedding.

It's very very full on!

The weather had been FABULOUS until today when all of a sudden it was Winter. And I have frozen my butt off.

I'm rambling now so I'll leave it here. I hope you are all great.

A Rant about Nails

There are no decent salons in the Sydney area. Or at least none near me. It's starting to really peeve me. take a look at these

Honestly they are terrible! Wide. Arches and C Curves, Flat and lifting. So bad in fact my pointer and middle finger had the acrylic totally replaced last week and the acrylic on my ring finger decided to pop off this evening. Thank the LORD I still had my nail underneath and I can paint a decent french nail.
I got so peeved I started talk to Jason about buying/setting up a salon. Someone else can run the damn thing but I want decent services! And I figure if they are provided to others it has to make money. (Hey Monnie wanna run a salon for me? LMAO)
Ah it's never going to happen but it's always nice to dream. Hey it might happen one day. I can't work for the man for the rest of my life and I'd like to own my own business. ATM the 2 wants are an amazing salon or a McDonalds. Yesssss!!! I know, I know! I am defiintely brilliant.
Don't think for one second that Tupperware will take a back seat! No way. I have too much fun with it to ever give it up.
Now I need to find a freaking decent nail tech. Arghh!

3 posts in 3 days??? Surely not!

Yup I'm here. I don't think I have much to say but if this works out as normal we'll figure that part out when I hit send :P

Thanks so much for commenting on my last post and my photos. It's always nerve wracking putting up fat photos. I usually post and wait for the kooks to come out. Thankfully that hasn't happened yet though so I'll continue to post my progress pics as I go.

The trick is being in the mood to strip off and have the photos done. You also need to have shaved your legs the same day and need a co operative partner. MIL has to have gone out or be in bed. It can't be too cold or you'll want to die and you need to be able to find the same clothes as last time, Or at least similar. It all comes together rarely!

I think I'm loving the white background though. Makes my pasty white english skin look tanned haha.

I think I am starting to realise how truly draining my normal job is! I normally crash physically and emotionally whenever I am home. Unfortunately that also means this place is generally a write off 24/7 and I do my best to have a small path from my door to my bed clear so I don't do myself any more damage falling over crap getting to my bed.

Tonight I got home and was like OK cool. This place is a mess lets fix it. I had my washing on and pulled everything apart and got to work. I plugged my iPhone into the speakers cranked the volume started singing and Jadey is a happy girl! It was easy and near on effortless. My feet and ankles would have been happier had I been in bed withmy feet up but I'll pat them and massage them and sing to them and pray they don't punish me later.

This is not me! Not me at all! My new job is basically analysis and data entry. It's a job where I sit at a computer with my headphones linked to my iPhone playing music and not my telephone talking to people. It is draining because you concentrate and it's repetitive and mind numbing but apparently that means I have the energy for a life out side of work.

Now I need to book more tupperware parties while this phenomenon has taken over me!

Has anyone else been in this same kind of situation?

Hi ALL!

I know I have been a very bad blogger haven't I! My sincerest (is that a word) apologies.

Not that much has been going on in my life so I haven't felt the urge to be writing about boringness, knowing that no one would want to read about boringness. But on the other hand I would love to increase my readership. Any of you popular bloggers got some tips and tricks on how I do that? I'll admit to loving the attention :P

Now are you ready for a catch up? Grab a cuppa and go to the loo cause this could be a long one.

So as you all know I made a return to work and quickly went out and bought myself the car of my dreams. You girls are all too damn funny with your name suggestions!

Cara - I can't call it Jadey that's my name and all too confusing! I did like Diamond though.
Sharon - Montgomery seriously?? Future Hubby read that and was like yup it's settled Montgomery it is. Nooooo.
Sharon, Beck and Wanna - BAZZA????? Honestly girls who's on drugs here and how did you all come up with such a bogan name for my purdy Pajero. hahahahaha I'm thinking Pumpy - Future Hubby (FH from here on in) is in total denial about the whole thing and refuses to accept it but I think it's funky! He thinks it me

Chris - Maybe I gotta offer up a prize to get a cool name like Roxy :p

I think I am going to make FH happy for now and name him Montgomery.

Monty and I have become very close friends. I absolutely adore him. I am very happy to say that he doesn't use more fuel than my old car and he is so much easier to drive. So much easier to park! It's smaller and a can see the corners AND it has the reversing sensors. Oh dreamboat.

My return to work on the other hand seems to have been fairly short lived. I was back in the club but not having all that much luck. I wasn't really doing my own job so I felt like I wasn't doing all that I could to be effective in my position. In fact I felt really useless.

I got sent off to a summit where we were supplied with some extra training and responsibility which was awesome. I learnt so much in my time there! Plus I got to spend the night in a hotel at Bondi Beach and woke up to a short walk down to the beach to spend the morning sitting on the boardwalk there soaking up the sunshine and people watching. It was amazing! Great way to start the day. My poor colleagues were being dragged through bootcamp on the beach but I am sure they are all the better for it (even if it was after a night of hard drinking and no sleep)

We learnt about something called Insights. Which is kind of like personality typing I suppose. You learn about what drives you (and those around you) and why people are like they are. I came up a strong Yellow with Strong Green and Red behind me also.

Yellow is bubbly and loving. They are people that love attention. They want to be included in everything and HATE to be left out. It's like a personal insult. (even when it's not) It is quite energetic. Yellow needs to be loved. Hence the need for more readers or commenter's or both. And the Look at me! Personality I sometimes display.

Green is very caring and compassionate. This is the side that has me worried about people in the middle of the night. I'm sure this is the side of me that makes me cry when people I don't even know die (not celebrities just anyone!) This is the part of me that wants to do whatever I can to help. That takes time out for people even when it's to my own detriment.

And Red is the total opposite! I'm generally red when I'm mad or determined. Red is the fire in me. It's me when I have a short fuse. It's the determination, driven, get in my way and get run over girl. It can be nasty. It doesn't come out much in the bad way thank goodness because Yellow and Green dominate.

Isn't it interesting. If I had my book here or could even seem to successfully google the information I am looking for it I could give you so much better and more thorough explanations of what I just said. I want to do the official test and find out exactly where I fit but it costs. one day one day.

After the summit I raised some concerns about me actually implementing what I had learnt with my regional manager. He completely understood which is great. He's a nice bloke and we get along well. Surprisingly though when I returned to work on Monday I was able to do my job without a hassle.

There was a couple of things that are still a sticking point so on Tuesday morning my Regional manager Hr and myself met to chat and I have moved workplace for a little while to head office. It's tripled my fuel bill and the tolls suck but it's going to give me an opportunity to a) be useful b) stay off my feet and c) become an absolute admin whizz. So it'll be very useful when I do return to my normal duties.

OK off of boring day to day work and onto TUPPERWARE!

I am having so much fun with Tupperware and to be honest it is so rewarding even in these early early days. I have earnt so much stuff for free and I am feeling really good about my decision to become a Tupperware lady. I am not doing as many parties as I would like to yet (Book me now before I get too busy) But I am sure it's coming. My Fan Page on Facebook seems to be pretty popular but I'd love it if you could join (My Tupperware Lady) and if you are already there invite your friends. The wider the audience the better!

We released the Spring / Summer catalogue a couple of weeks ago and as of today it became public! I love it! There are so many awesome products. Some great new stuff. A return of some of the older stuff and new colours in other ranges. It's gorgeous and fun. And really reminds you of the warmer weather. If you want a copy feel free to send an email to me at tupperwarejadey@hotmail.com and give me your postal address and I'll get one in the mail to you.

It's such a great business opportunity with so many rewards as well as cash. But also it's fun! I get to sit with people and have a chat and enjoy a scone or cake or both (oops) and a cuppa with them. And I don't even have to sell! It does that by itself. Not many haven't heard of Tupperware and everyone needs it.

If you are in Sydney and want to come play in a Sales Meeting with me one night and see behind the scenes make sure you let me know won't you. Cause I would love to bring you along as my guest :) No pressure to join or anything.

Oh MAN I sound like I'm part of AMWAY! Nooooo not me. Sorry this is definitely NOT Amway.
Now despite all the cookies and scones and cake I am still managing to lose weight. Although I have remained at the same weight for the last 6 days! HOW FRUSTRATING, I think staying the exact same weight every morning is even more frustrating than going up a bit going down a bit etc. Actually no! I'll take staying the same instead of going up. It gives me hope that it's fluid or something.

So where am I at?

Well I started at 126.9 kgs (shock fucking horror how the hell did I get there?)
And as of this morning (and for the last 6 days running) I have weighed in at 111.8 kgs

That's a loss of 15.1 kgs or Biggest Loser style 11.9% of my total Body Weight

How cool is that? I really can't complain. For those that forget or those of you just joining the program. I have a goal of 64kgs in time for my wedding which will be March 2011 if I get my act together and plan it between now and then. So I have 47.8 kgs to go to goal.

The other day I found a very rare Cadbury Cream Egg supplier and I took a bite and threw half of it in the bin! Like What The????

You see I have also set myself mini goals along the way and I have achieved 2 of these now and I am eager to achieve the 3rd. Now it would also be good if I had actually treated myself to the 2 goals I have achieved but I am sure it's coming (One is movies gold class for which I have the tickets already and one is a full body massage which I also have a voucher for) The Next goal to achieve is for a deluxe pedi. But I am thinking of switching that with something else since I can hardly touch my foot thanks to the surgery and so therefor there would be nothing deluxe about a foot massage at this stage and no pedi is deluxe without one. The next goal marks me getting under 110kgs so 109.9 kgs. I can smell it!

I think I really need to be getting on the bike and swimming a bit more though. Well that's the fakest thing ever cause I'm not getting on the bike or swimming at all. So I actually need to do it! It will help rehab my ankle and help me burn some extra calories.

We Are Slimming is having another challenge starting Monday! It's a 6 week Keep it Simple Challenge so feel free to join in with us. People are setting goals for the challenge already I gotta admit I am still working on mine. WAS is an awesome and supportive forum. The girls are all so close and really care about how you are going and that kind of thing.

Ah well - it's past time for this lil chook to get some zzz's I hope you are all doing well. I promise to catch up on some bloggy reading in the next few days if you promise to feed my yellow and comment a bit more (haha)

I'll try and comment on your blogs too!

Hi All! Day 80 of 84!

Wow I can't believe this challenge is almost over. I have achieved some of my overall goals. Not all but I am still quite happy with the overall outcome at this stage.

I'll leave the big reveal for day 84.

I have been working on a few of my 101 goals too and I am happy to say I have crossed off or I am in progress of crossing off 25 of those goals. I'm fairly impressed with that but I still have a few more things I would like to cross off in the near future.

I'd still love advice on what to do with redundant goals. Maybe I should cross them off as no longer applicable?

Who has actually completed a 101 list? I know someone mentioned one of the Kate's (I'm sorry I don't know which one) Completed hers just recently. I would love to read over the list and process. All too often we spend so long creating these lists of goals we would like to achieve and then as life goes on we completely ignore it. I'd really like to move forward with my goals and make them happen. The big the small the mid sized. A couple of big things have already happened and they are the hardest. Now talking of the big things....

Let me share with you the latest of goals that I ticked off my list. Goal number 36 of 101. Buy a Short Wheel Base Pajero. See below = My gorgeous Paj which is yet Un named. Total shite photo of it though - I haven't had a chance to take it out for piccys. I just snapped this one with my iPhone when I came back to the car at Chatswood Chase the other day. I was just so in love with it. Esp with my new totally overpriced number plates.

It's a VRX so comes with the HID lights, Side Steps, 18" Alloys, 2 tone paint, Leather Interior, Heated Seats (one of my newest fav things), HUGE almost convertible like sunroof, Lots of airbags, it also came with Pajero mats, Bonnet Protector, headlight and fog light protectors, roof racks and a few other bibs and bobs I can't remember off the top of my head but you get the picture. It's super luxo!

I'll take better photos when I am better again.

I have never owned a car so new nor so expensive in my life. But I am happy I bought it.

HELP ME NAME IT!

My cars have always always had names and I haven't thought of anything for it as yet.

What else is happening? Hrm well with a few days to go until the end of the challenge my weight loss is coming along well. Completing the challenge = ticking off another thing on my 101 list and doing it for me.

To tick off my list this month.

36. Buy a Short Wheel Based Pajero - Done
82. Have a Full Body Massage - I need to book this in
89. Consolidate my super - I haven't even looked at this. Is anyone especially happy with theirs? Tell me who and why!
90. Get Income Protection Insurance - I haven't looked at this either again - are you especially happy with yours? Tell me who and why!
93. Complete a 12 week WAS Challenge - Completes in 4 days
96. Get my Tupperware business off the ground - Yay I'm off and running. I am still looking for some Sydney hosts to spoil with Free Tupperware. Would over $220 worth of free Tupperware OF YOUR CHOICE be great in your house?
100. Organize the catch ups with friends I have been meaning to for ages - I am so happy to have met up with a whole pile of people I have been planning on seeing for ages. Now to stay in touch

In the last couple of weeks I have been lucky enough to Meet Dannie from We Are Slimming, Tina from Mummified Times Five and B from Beetricks. I have known all these ladies online for sooo many years and it has been an absolute joy to meet every single one of them. I am so glad to have such wonderful people in my life. Now the trick is to stay in touch and catch up more often.

I am back at work, I miss my folks. Does anyone want to get involved in a working bee at their place? They really need help to pull it all together and get the damn thing on the market so they can move up here.

At the moment I am in bed with a virus and the flu. There is a small worry it's the swine flu as I have had contact with others who are infected. (Gotta love working in a gym, STAY HOME PEOPLE!) But they don't test unless you are knocking on deaths door at the moment. While I am sure I am dying my doctor says he has seen worse and I'll live. The virus he's treating though. Anti biotics for Jadey to get rid of green phlegm. Even the word is ugly.

Thank God for my TV, my PVR (hard drive video recorder), and my laptop. At least when I am awake I am entertained. All without leaving my bed. I am sleeping a lot though. I don't want to move. I am puffed out and tired getting from my bed to the stairs which is about a 10 metre walk. Don't even ask about getting up and down them. Ugh!

The greatest part is I have been working on this post for hours now (yes lack of energy, concentration etc etc) and I am thirsty. But I can zip a message to Jason on MSN and ask him to bring me some nourishing fluids. I love him. He's the bestest.

I think I am going to go back to sleep now. My neck no longer holds the weight of my head.

Don't forget to leave your comments. And the questions of the day were.

What do I do about redundant 101 goals?
Which Kate finished their 101 recently and where do I find it?
What should I name my beautiful new car?
Tell me about your super company if you are especially happy with it and why.
Tell me about your income protection insurance if you are especially happy with it and why.

Or just drop me a message to say hi!

Good Food and Wine 61/84

First up I have to thank you all so much for your blog comments below. It means so much to have you all with me on this journey and I have been so lucky to have so many internet buddies in my life. In fact the people I am closest to including my fiance, maid of honour, bridesmaids the lot were all met online. And that is why you are so important to me.

Today Loz and I headed off to the Good Food and Wine Show. I stumbled across this last year and was mightily impressed with what was on offer. So much so I decided it simply HAD to be an annual pilgramage. Me and my Nanna trolley. (Totally stolen picture) which is an absolute essential. Along with leaving your handbag at home, bringing a big back pack and the essentials only haha.
I should have known what kind of day it was going to turn out to be when the first stand we decided to visit was the Absinthe one. 3 shots down, feeling a little tipsy (no breakfast) And we moved onto the Finlandia vodka stand. 5 or 6 shots of that and the party had definitely started. It was only 9:30am. (oops)
It was rough going getting around the expo. I'm no where near recovered and I think I bit off wayyy more than I can chew. But it was still an awesome day. I even found 2 wines I like! I have never liked any wines. Both Brown Brothers - Sienna and Zibbo. YUMMY
There was even a huge Tupperware stall that my team happened to be manning as we went past so I got to say hi to them. I am looking forward to being able to join them on one of these days. They looked to be having fun :)
Heaps of cheeses and yummy bits and pieces. I came home with chocolates, cheese twists, chai tea and I should have purchased more cheeses. But I came home with a massive haul of alcoholic products. Especially for someone who doesn't generally drink. Oops. See below. ALL bought at the expo and there are some bottles behind others etc.

When we had finished making our way through the expo I called Jase to come and pick us up. I am so glad he was driving because constructing a sentence was hard. No way could I drive. Neither could Loz although she was holding on better than me.
While we waited Loz and I jumped on the Ferris Wheel which has been set up in Darling Harbour, I have been looking at this thing from the road when I pick Jason up from work wondering exactly where it was etc and wanting a ride for a month.
Unfortunately the sun was in the wrong position for photos of the harbour. But I did capture this one of the chinese gardens. An awesome place to visit if ever you are in Sydney.

And this one of Lozza and I. It always makes for a great outing! I highly recommend getting along if you aren't doing anything tomorrow. And pay the $25 for a trolley when you walk in the door. Trust me!

All in all it was an awesome day. I don't think the scales will be happy with me in the morning but my tastebuds sure have been. Hopefully any damage doesn't show up on Monday's weigh in cause I am tracking well at this stage.
Now haven't we had GORGEOUS weather in Sydney this week! Today was cool in the wind and the wind was a bit strong yesterday but the sun has been gorgeous. Not too hot nor too cold.
I was teasing my Mum yesterday. As I was sitting in the car waiting to pick Jason up from work I took a photo of the outside temperature display which was reading 23°C and emailed it to her. I don't think she was happy. Melbourne has had miserable weather.

Oh and you may have noticed I boosted the 101 list as I have ticked off a whole pile of stuff in the last month or so. So I thought I should set myself monthly targets to acheive certain 101 goals or it woud never happen. Last month I finally tried a Custard Apple. I'm not sure this one wasn't starting to turn (see the darker areas) But I ate some of the good bits and it was beautiful! It really tastes like custard.

So this month I am going to try and tick off

36. Buy a Short Wheel Based Pajero - in progress hopefully I'll pick it up early next week.
82. Have a Full Body Massage - I have a voucher the guys at work gave me for my birthday yeah in December (Oops) And I really really need one now.
89. Consolidate my super - Its all over the place and my main one isn't an industry fund so it's charging huge fees. Time to move on.
90. Get Income Protection Insurance - My operation has showed me how important this is. It can be a part of my super so that's how I am going to try and structure it
93. Complete a 12 week WAS Challenge - I have been doing well this challenge and as you can see above there are 23 days to go in this one :)
96. Get my Tupperware business off the ground - I would consider paying off my kit, being confident with my parties, introducing some others to the business and getting some prizes at sessions off the ground.
100. Organize the catch ups with friends I have been meaning to for ages - I have caught up with many people I have meant to but I am finally catching up with B and a couple of other people. When that happens I'll consider this successful.
Does anyone have ideas for 101's that become redundant? Like I have tinting my windows on the list but now I am buying this other car it already has tinted windows. Do I replace it with something else or ignore it?

59 / 84

I know I have taken too long between blogs when I have to go back and check on what the hell my last blog actually said.

Well I lasted just over a week at work. Then on Monday night I had really aching horrible pains running down my entire left leg. I had freaked out at first thinking it was a blood clot or something. I took Tuesday off and took myself to the doctor. The Doctor has a theory that it may be pinched nerves in my back. Lucky aren't I? So I am off work again until Monday unless my back get better beforehand. And if it doesn't I'm off for further testing.

I'm not going so well with my physio exercises cause now I'm resting again. Ah well. Shame it also screws up the goals I set for myself on Monday haha. (See bottom of page). While I am resting up though I should update my 101 list. I have started ticking off some things. (yay)

Jason cancelled our foxtel subscription this week and it all finished up yesterday. I am so happy about this as Foxtel is the hugest waste of money! Honestly it cost us $130 a month to watch TV!!!! Screw that. There is plenty on free to air available. I need to get myself a longer antenna cord to plug my PVR in so I can record the shows I normally watch again.

In other news I am buying myself a new car! (YAY) And finally I am getting what I want. Yes. After 8 years of looking and longing I am buying a Pajero. I never liked the 4 door ones and the return of the 2 door 2 years ago excited me no end. Now I am only days away from my new car and I am too excited. (And can you tell if anything gets in my road I will be totally crushed)

It's not my preferred colour. But silver is nice too. It's the second choice to black. It's got a full leather interior with heated seats. A sunroof and a few other factory options. It's so nice to drive. It's not entirely practical so I said to Jase if I don't get one now I will never be able to because a) they are being discontinued again in Australia and b) I don't think it practical for multiple children. In fact it might even be hard work with one. (I might borrow a baby with their capsule and find out hahahaha)

The next thing to decide on is do I pay the yearly $440 for my personalised number plates? I love them. I really do. But I hate that NSW makes you lease them and you never own them. Maybe I'll register it in Victoria where I can buy the plates for $495 and never pay again and own them. It's an option I am lucky to have.

Weight loss wise Operation Wedding Dress is well underway. I am still dropping weight and seeing successes. My measurements are well down on my beginning point and I am feeling really good. I am setting my goals and reporting on them every week on the We Are Slimming forums (as well as here) and seem to be acheiving the majority of them. Sure I miss some things but I am only human and I am accepting of that.

I am still weighing daily which also helps to keep me on track but my main weigh in day is Monday and I accept whatever that weight is on the day up or down knowing that it's a process and one that will take some time. As long as the trend continues downwards I am on the right path.

This week when I weighed in on Monday I was very happy with the results! This week saw me burst through the 10kg mark! This is such a great feeling. I am really happy about doing what's right for me. I can't wait to start doing some exercise!

Now I have been reading and catching up on all your blogs. I will try to be better with the comments but if you are dropping by here for a read please comment so I know you were here. It makes a girl feel loved you know LOL

42/84 - A TupperChick and A Bride 2 Be

Hey all!

Well what a big weekend that was! Friday night I was so happy to catch up with some of the blogger girls from Sydney. It was great to see Margaret again and catch up with Simmo but it was also great to meet Jodie, Chantel, Krissie, Cath and Sam.

We had a brilliant dinner and I split a share with Simmo. We both ordered a main and had half each. One was Blakeys Beef which was an amazing garlic and something marinated diced sirloin steak and the other was a beautiful spicy salt whitebaits. Both soo yummy.

Jason was sooo good to bring me into the city and pick me up. I love that man. (Warm fuzzies)

Saturday was my Tupperware Announcement party. It was my official "open for business" I suppose. In preparation I made way too much food but somehow it all got eaten. We had such a good time as my manager Annika came and did a basic demo for us. Thanks so much to Loz, Carissa and of course the fabulous Margaret for coming along and for helping me get off the ground with my new business.

From there we went straight out to a birthday party for another friend. Anne is such a beautiful person I was so happy to help her celebrate her birthday and we had a fun night.

Sunday morning I met Loz down at Luna Park for the Sydney Bridal Expo. It was at the crystal palace which I love as an idea for a wedding reception venue. But I'm not sure it's doable. Plenty of time to make decisions yet. I just discovered they had more exhibitions upstairs that we didn't know was there. We just th0ught it was the fashion show. Ah wells.

Honestly Lozza is the bestest best friend one could hope for. She gave up her Sunday morning sleep in and dragged herself into Luna Park to support me. Then she carried SOOO MUCH stuff for me while we had a look around. Honestly there must of been 10kg or so of magazines alone. I love you Lozza!

Then I rushed off from there to Cronulla and Trish's baby shower. She is 30 / 31 weeks and looks FABULOUS! She is such an adorable girl and I was so happy to get together with her and meet some of her friends. The lunch was really yummy! I skipped dessert (I reckon I should of stayed) But I was keen to get to the Pittwater Annual Bridal Expo.

I needn't have bothered rushing. It was actually quite small and uninspiring. All I know now is that I don't want my wedding reception there. But I suppose at least I do know that. Oh and I have amazing blisters on my hands from the crutches LOL.

Then Jason and I sat down to a movie last night. We watched a real tear jerker called Taking Chance. It's about an officer who requests to take a PFC from his home town back to the family after he is killed in action in Iraq. It is based on a true story about this 20 y.o PFC. I cried and cried and cried some more. Highly Highly recommended.

Today has been nice. I needed a day of doing nothing so that's what I've done. I'm in bed with my tupperware catalogues and information, my bridal magazines and my laptop. I did create a fan page for my tupperware business called My Tupperware Lady on facebook. And 12 people have joined already so they must be Tupperfans like me. Feel free to join my page. It's fairly bare right now but I am sure I will be able to build it given some time.

I really need some hosts for parties right now. In order to get started I need to have 4 - 6 parties booked in a matter of weeks. If you can host a party for me please let me know. It can be yourself and 3 or 4 mates or a whole bunch of people doesn't matter! There's FREE Tupperware for you too! Hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth so it's a well rewarded exercise.

There are lots of fun parties to be had. Cockatail Parties, Taste of Tupperware, Chocoholics parties etc.

OK now the official stats etc. I so don't want to share. I feel like a damn Yoyo!

Height:~ 168 cms
Start Weight:~ 126.9 kgs
Goal Weight:~ 64 kgs
Current Weight:~ 119.6 kgs
Weight Lost:~ 7.3 kgs

That's a gain of 700 grams this week! I don't get it so much.
